Today I remixed my statement peacock duster sweater/jacket from Soft Surroundings (on their site again if you are interested). The last time I showed this piece, it was in Chicago and I wore a black top and leggings underneath. This time around, I wore jeans and a gold tank to go with the gold embroidery. Speaking of Chicago, I really missed my annual trip there for the holiday season..... I found out my beloved Palmer House hotel has gone into foreclosure and has not been open since the pandemic. To think about all that beauty and history being lost is heartbreaking. Their site says they will reopen this March, so I am wishing for the best to keep that icon around!
