Balmy Waddling

When you consider 35 degrees and raining to be balmy, you know you live in Michigan! Really though, after the below zero temps we'd been having, temps in the 30's do feel downright balmy. I guess our bodies and blood are conditioned to this. And when all that show melts into a huge mess, you do feel like you are "waddling" through it like a duck! If you'd like to read the story behind my duck affection, see post here.

So I guess I just love all kinds of birds. Peacocks are my first love, but I do enjoy owl and duck prints too. The ducks on this sweater have all kinds of textures - embroidery, crochet, beads, etc..... There's even one hiding around the back. I am wearing one of my recent "deal" necklaces in this link (link updated now that I have found the peacock necklace on Macy's website).

Monogram "Pond Parade Pullover" : Anthropologie
Lenora Dame Nostalgic Floral Strand : TJ Maxx
A.N.A. Jeggings & Boots : JC Penney

I love this duck sweater. I do not remember it. I also had to flip back through your archives. I love the duck skirt on you. Those shoes sounded awesome, too.

I had wondered how you were going to wear that necklace. It seemed hard to picture for some reason. And it looks so good with that sweater. Perfect! That was such a great score.

I am glad you are enjoying some better weather!

I love ducks myself and that sweater is perfect. I have never seen it and I was hoping it was new. I remember Anthropologie had a cute brass duck bracelet a few years back and I waited for a second markdown and missed out. It's one of those rare items that is hard to find because I don't think it had a brand name.
If you have more duck items, please post more.
Cheers,
Stacey
