County Fair Time!

I love County Fairs. State Fairs too. It's the one time a year that I indulge in a corn dog. Fresh squeezed lemonade. Deep fried whateveryoucanthinkof. I enjoy seeing the 4H kids, and admiring the structure and discipline they achieve. It's interesting to me to think about the traveling lifestyle of the carnies, taking their rides from place to place. And as I go off to my cubicle each and every day, it's amazing to think about how different my job is than that of a farmer.

I knew exactly what I was going to wear to the fair this year....... Anna Sui's County Fair dress (from Anthro and submitted to this week's outfit at Effortless Anthropologie). It has the most whimsical vintage print of rides, vendors and booths you've ever seen.

Was I overdressed for the fair? Probably. Did I care? No.
