Trinkets

The closest, independent, bead store is about 20 minutes for me. It's called Just Bead It and they have several locations in Michigan. I don't get there as often as I like, but I did make a trip this week. One thing I bought was the Bungee Bracelet from The Bead Smith. It's a really cool, stretchable bracelet that is covered with chain and 16 jumprings to attach charms to. It comes in 5 different metal colors. Here is the bracelet I created today with it, which is now listed in my Etsy shop. I used various charms, button, and these really cool new safety pins I found at Michaels as part of the Tim Holtz line. I love how they have words and numbers stamped on them for a very vintage feel!

Very cool! I love the bungee bracelet. I've never seen that before. All the charms you've used are really interesting. I like how you beaded the safety pins.

i must find these safety pins!!?? where is the Michaels store can I find these!??! Your bracelet turned out AWE-SOME by the way! I saw something similar to this at my local bead shop, that someone had designed using polyester chain, with just clear stretchy cord thread through the chain, creating a stretchy piece. They had attached Vintaj brass chamrs around the whole thing. Very cute!

That is great! I love that. My closest bead store does not carry things like that yet, but I am planning on changing that...Demand is everything!

Love your site BTW :)

Thanks everyone!

Lorelei... you can find the Tim Holtz items in the scrapbook section. At my Michaels, they are in the same isle as the rubber stamps.

Hi Heather!
I hope you don't mind but I went and picked up some of these cool safety pins today at Michaels. I didn't end up getting the keyholes, or the keys, but they are soo very cool. I picked up the gears, and did you see the package of swivel clasps?? how cool are they! I'm thankful for the tip on this Tim Holtz stuff. you R O C K!
