Here’s another outfit that connects to my personality. Edme
and Esyllte’s “Air Mail” skirt (from Anthro) has a postage stamp print on it.
When I was younger, I used to collect stamps! I still have my entire collection
packed away….. in my 80’s Trapper Keeper! LOL! So this skirt really spoke to me
when I saw it. It’s an older piece, and had to be searched out on eBay. In
today’s tech savvy world of online shipping, emailing and texting, and stamps
with a “forever” value, it’s interesting to think about what has happened to
the postage stamp over my lifetime. Are hobbies like stamp collecting destined
to disappear?
